Digipak And Lyric Booklet: Final Cut

Within this I have made some very minor tweaks such as
  • moving the title
  • moving the artist name

This is the final front cover of our lyric booklet

Magazine Ad: Draft 2 - Rock Inspiration For Q Magazine

We thought this would be a good image to use to target our audience in Q magazine. As it provides a certain amount of detail with the hair, but is kept simple and sophisticated and therefore is morelikely to attract an older audience, therefore targeting our secondary target audience. We chose a simple colour as well as using black and white in the QR code to keep the design minimalistic and stylish. The featured text has been coloured the various shades from the exact colours within the hair, using the eye dropper tool.

Stage 2 of the process to create the Warhol effect

Digipak: Inner Panels - Andy Warhol Base Layer

This is the base layer that is used to create the Warhol effect. This is done by using various layers and adjusting the levels and then erasing out the surrounding areas to create a flawless composition.

Digipak - Self Editing Green Screen

Unfortunately before leaving to go on the school break i forgot to edit the green screen out myself using Final Cut Pro X. So, I had the unfortunate task of editing out the green myself in Photoshop CS6. I found a tutorial on youtube of the most effective way to do this, however i was pre - warned it could go wrong... which it did. Althought it got most of it out it did leave a mark all the way around the image which i had to edit out. This took A LOT more time than planned!
