This is our first teaser ad. however we think we will prefer to have the QR code in the hair instead of the bum because it looks a little out of place.

Teaser Ad: Back Shot QR Code
We have now decided to place the QR code within the hair to still keep the same look that is happening with the newspaper. We will be asking our instagram followers which they think is best.
Teaser Ad - Pink Lips With Pink QR Code
We chose this image as a teaser Ad that could possibly feature in Attitude Magazine which is aimed at a predominantly homosexual audience specifically the Pink Pound. This is very relative to Lady Gaga as she started her career in gay clubs.

We think this magazine ad would work better in Cosmopolitan due to the bright colours, this image integrates many of our texts which provides a theme and consistancy

Magazine Ad: Draft 2 - Rock Inspiration For Q Magazine
We thought this would be a good image to use to target our audience in Q magazine. As it provides a certain amount of detail with the hair, but is kept simple and sophisticated and therefore is morelikely to attract an older audience, therefore targeting our secondary target audience. We chose a simple colour as well as using black and white in the QR code to keep the design minimalistic and stylish. The featured text has been coloured the various shades from the exact colours within the hair, using the eye dropper tool.

We hope to provide 2 alternative final main magazine ads. As from audience feedback many people when asked to choose between them gave very
mixed responses depending on age and gender.
We think this magazine would look best in Heat Magazine as this is targeting our primary female audience and from audience feedback they seem to like this image more than the plain one

Magazine Ad: Research Into 2 Main Magazines
We have researched two appropriate options for our campaign to be included in. For this we chose:
Heat magazine is an accurate representation of our overall package and campaign as it provides us with the 15 - 24 age bracket which is what our target audience is. Although according to the YouGov demographics this is slightly out of our reach as Lady Gaga is usually aimed at C2DE profile.
Below is the Ad prices:
Although prices are very high in heat magazine, due to it being a popular 'chat and gossip' magazine we would like to produce a full page ad for this. As it is on our target audience and we feel this magazine would aid us in providing wide spread coverage.
On the other hand we have chosen to also look at Q magazine, although slightly older we think this would be good due to the fact that it ties in with our secondary target audience which spans over 2 age ranges - ranging from 25 - 44 we think this is good, especially to advertise our tour as we feel it is most likely going to be adults buying tickets to see Lady Gaga on tour for the teenagers than the teens buying it themselves. Therefore advertising it in here could potentially provide more revenue. Also Q reader has a heavy rock influence so we have designed a specific poster that would be directly influenced to incorporate the rock theme.
Although prices in Q magazine are not as expensive we do think that it would only be neccessary to have a half page horizontal. This is because it is not our main target audience.

Magazine Conventions
This is some of the magazine ads that we looked at in order to get some inspiration. we noticed common conventions such as tour dates being near the bottom, also the artists name taking up a lot of space on the poster itself and it usually being a bold and bright font. This also including website URLS as well as record companies and sometimes digipaks

Fonts Downloading and Experimenting 6
We have gathered a series of fonts to experiment with for our digipak and magazine ads. we hope to create this using placeholders first and receiving audience feedback from various groups from our set target audience. From our Instagram as well as school friends with the possibility of going to younger year groups and ask them as many of Gaga's fans are below our target audience of 15 - 24.
