Bad Romance - Gagapedia

We recently 'googled' the meaning behind the Hitchcock reference in Bad Romance. The first link took us to the Gagapedia website which stated that she wanted:

" The deepest, darkest, sickest parts of you are afraid to share with anyone because I love you that much. - The song represents her ' fear of Love Monster' "

Our 5th Shoot

In our 5th shoot we chose to film it at my house. We chose the lounge as this had a couple of items that we worthy to us. This included a taxidermy puffin.

As we were aware in Psycho (Hitchcock, 1960) that there was use of taxidermy birds. We plan to film later in our next shoot using taxidermy owls.

We situated Gaga in a leather bucket chair as this felt best de to the use of leather in a lot of her videos, we like a bucked shape as it would be easy to manoeuvre but also good for gaga to position herself.

Idea 3

We realise that the Hitchcock film Psycho is mentioned in Bad Romance, so we thought it only fitting that we reference it ourselves, I came across this short clip on youtube and i thought it would be a good idea to include the birds in as it was a little quirky like Gaga herself. but also gave a strong reference back to the film.

Hitchcock Reference In Bad Romance (Cameo)

We've noticed in one of the verses were are references to Psycho, Rear Window, Vertigo, ... All of course Hitchcock films! Hitch was famous for always briefly cameoing in his own films.... So we shall too!
