Digipak Ideas 1

Digipak ideas so far:


we hope to use a 6 panel horizontal template incorporating a lyrics booklet. - We hope to use a white background for the front and the rear. This would therefore use a CD and a DVD.

From this we hope to create 2 versions - changing the font and rear panel and maybe using some form of colour distortion on the interior. We hope to combine this with a running theme from the back to the front with the possibility of using the same idea - possibly rotated etc for the front and rear panel.

For this we would like:

• Lady Gaga on the front of a dining room chair facing the camera. And for the rear of the digipak Lady Gagas wig for the back of the cover and blending the lyrics into her hair. 
• A classified ad - a room to rent for viral #globalgaga - scanning newspaper to overlay our work. This could also work for a magazine ad. 
• There could be a scrapbook idea on the inside panels of lady gaga 'travels' around the world. 

We think an OST (Original Sound Track) would work best for this and produce it as if we have made a movie out of it. 

We also think ideas involving the paper dresses could have some potential input. Using the front and the back of the dresses. this would also be good for the inside panels as we could use ripped newspaper revealing the photos or text underneath. We could also use a cut out of the dress and replace it with song titles.

Today we have filmed using the paper dresses so we thought it would be cool to take a photo of it to show our lovely instagram followers the journey!

 

CW: Performance Idea 1

Having talked to the year 10s, we have decided to swap the idea, to make it feel more Gaga.

Now, we intend on having 3 sections of gaga

1. The Leader Gaga (LG), this will be the gaga sat in a chair, somewhat like the pimp in the original video. Where the original presented a make ruled world, we intend to subvert this message and present gaga as being the one in control of her actions. LG will sit on her throne, over looking the other gagas. In order to make it easier to film, we shall be using 3 different shots for this, a CU, a MLS HA and a MLS MA. This will mean that we can have 2 tripods set up to film her and her minion people, as well as having a CU to cut to if we want


2. The Minion Gaga (MG), this will be a group of 5 gagas sat around LGs throne. Some shots will be done as LG then MGs straight after in order to keep the angles the same. However, others will be CUs of the MGs


3. The 3rd group are the Newspaper Dancing Gagas (DG), there will be around 5 of them, but with scope to include more if needed, these will be singing and dancing to LG.

With the wings being worn either by LG or by DG


Upon considering this idea over night, I think having the wings worn by LG would be best, with the large dress worn by either the MGs (most likely) or DGs. The other would
