CW: Final Rough Cut - 8

This is the very final rough cut, We have improved upon the footsteps and also removed the zoom onto the mouth as we thought it was a bit too extreme.



Before the final cut, we want to improve the final shot and make it cut out in a snappier manner

This is rough cut 7, we are very happy with how this looks, but want to just iron out some issues before calling it a day!

Changes made to diegetic sound, fight scene, and also to the final shot!

Alongside those changes, we have also adjusted the ordering of some clips and added a zoom effect on an earlier clip.

Since RC4, we have adjusted the Newspaper/Liechtenstein section, Brightened the bedroom black Rose section, some of the dancing and also some lipsynicing

We showed a group of year 12s our rough cut and digipak, which you can see here:

After collecting these results, we needed to collate them, which we did and the results are in this table:

CW: Rough Cut 4

This is our 4th Rough Cut for Bad Romance



Since RC3, we have improved the newspaper background further, even adding fake newspaper headlines in the background.
We have also added in an improved makeover scene. And improved the shakiness of the footage in bradford.

Since RC2, we've improved on the background for the newspaper performing gaga and changed the final performance section and improved the clomping of the heels within the dievetic intro which also features General hubbub

Alongside this, General audio improvements have been made, including making the switch from diegisis more pronounced and added in some more cutaway shots!

Digipak - Self Editing Green Screen

Unfortunately before leaving to go on the school break i forgot to edit the green screen out myself using Final Cut Pro X. So, I had the unfortunate task of editing out the green myself in Photoshop CS6. I found a tutorial on youtube of the most effective way to do this, however i was pre - warned it could go wrong... which it did. Althought it got most of it out it did leave a mark all the way around the image which i had to edit out. This took A LOT more time than planned!

Here is the second rough cut for Bad Romance.



I think I have managed to replace charlie in almost all shots she was in. I just need to fill in the spaces for the dancing, performing and also add in some extra greenscreen. The busking also needs to be added, but there is a lot of uneeded/unwanted footage around the good parts.

Digipak - Photoshoot

Today I took a series of photos for the digipak, I took them on a green screen so they would be easy to edit out in Final Cut Pro X before transferring them into photoshop to hopefully create the newspaper effect!

Digipak Ideas 3 - Xtina Influence?

Ive been looking at the sleeve for Christina Aguilera's Stripped, and i think i will take a similar approach to the framing of my front and rear digipak sleeve. Within this i have taken lots of images in which i will use a long shot for the front and a 2/3 CU shot for the rear. Within this i will also incorporate the use of black and white to signify the newspaper but also keeping the red lips to stay with theme.

Rough Cut 1

Here's Our first Rough Cut, The major editing tasks have been completed and we just need to get the pieces of footage with Charlie and Brodie Filmed and edited, along with some of other performance footage, including the Bath scene the 'Fashion Show' and the Dancing.
